Dr. Osman studied psychology at Arizona State University where she graduated with a Bachelor of Science. She studied clinical and neuropsychology at Argosy University Phoenix where she earned a Masters of Arts. Dr. Osman completed her doctorate in Clinical Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology, Washington DC. She completed her internship at Nystrom and Associates, LTD. in Minnesota where she specialized in neuropsychological assessment/consultation across the lifespan as well as psychotherapy for adult trauma survivors. She is currently completing her postdoctoral residency under the supervision of Paul Beljan, PsyD, ABPdN, ABN.

Dr. Osman’s areas of interest include neurodevelopmental and neurological disorders, medically complex cases affecting neurocognitive function and development, and forensic cases related to brain-based disorders.

Dr. Osman is passionate about diversity. Her future goals are to provide pro bono neuropsychological assessment services to underprivileged individuals and open an art studio for children from underfunded schools. Dr. Osman also hopes to utilize her education and experiences to educate communities about diverse topics such as mental health and resources in families of low socioeconomic backgrounds, misdiagnoses of people of color, and LGBTQ+ issues.

Dr. Osman has presented on various research topics including a poster presentation at the 2019 annual conference for the National Academy of Neuropsychology. Her research interests include the relationship between neurocognitive function, emotion regulation and adaptability. She is also interested in developing a more comprehensive and up-to-date model on the identity development of biracial/multiracial individuals and individuals from blended/foster/adopted families.

In her free time, Dr. Osman enjoys spending time with her family and traveling. She loves doing various forms of art, going to museums, writing, and reading/watching anything related to supernatural phenomena and the occult, criminology, psychology or art. She is also a football fan (playing and watching) and her favorite team is the AZ Cardinals.
